Transition Resource Fair
The Transition Resource Fair focuses on future options for high school students as they prepare for their next steps once out of school. A panel of presenters, including speakers from the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) will share their individual expertise about transition services, and adult services. The event also provides an opportunity to meet Exhibitors from local, inspirational transition and adult support service providers to hear about their current options.
The Fair is a free resource event open to the entire community.
5:00-6:00 p.m.: Panel Discussion
The Panel Discussion, Adult Services 101, will highlight the various options for students transitioning into adult services and will feature representatives from DDS and MRC. Exhibitors are also invited to attend the Panel Discussion.
6:00-7:30 p.m.: Exhibitor Fair
Exhibitors will be available in Breakout Rooms to discuss topics related to the transition process for students 14-22.
Attendees will be able to easily transfer from one Breakout Room to another.
